Join our Young People’s Theatre for a race through four of Shakespeare’s most famous plays (reduced!) Packed with blood-soaked drama, witty wordplay, high tragedy and silly comedy!
Star-crossed lovers Romeo and Juliet are caught up in family feuds and bloody revenge, while Macbeth’s ambition to be king brings murder, terror and the supernatural.
In fast-paced comedy As You Like It, love, disguise, and identity are explored when Rosalind runs away to the forest.
Stoppard’s The Fifteen Minute Hamlet comedically condenses Prince Hamlet’s avenging of his father’s death into a whistlestop tour of all the play’s most famous lines (not necessarily in the right order!).
__________
This amateur production of “The Fifteen Minute Hamlet” is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals Ltd. on behalf of Samuel French Ltd. www.concordtheatricals.co.uk.
“Romeo and Juliet”, “Macbeth” and “As You Like It” by William Shakespeare, adapted by Chris Heckels-Thompson.
