Description
We are delighted to present, in collaboration with six Heaton schools, the Heaton Shakespeare Festival 2025!
This joint undertaking is an exciting community venture which sees the People’s Theatre and local schools work together to present abridged versions of some of Shakespeare’s most popular plays.
The project involves 180 young people aged 10-15 years old, and is a fantastic showcase for what these schools and their teachers are doing to introduce young people to theatre and live performance, and to support the arts.
Launched in 2023, we are delighted to be bringing it to our stage once again!

Wednesday 18 June, 7pm
Cragside Primary School, Hotspur Primary School & Chillingham Road Primary School
Thursday 19 June, 7pm
Benton Park Primary School, Jesmond Park Academy & Ravenswood Primary School
(Each school's performance will last approx. 30 minutes)

Tickets are non-refundable.

Please note the position of the STAGE on the seating plan. Row A is the front, Row U is the rear.
The Row marked 'W' at the front marks the spaces assigned for audience members who use wheelchairs. If you require a wheelchair space, please give the Box Office a ring to book.
