Description

“a delightfully funny, and at times heart rending, production … I was still laughing as the final bows came.” – NETheatre

Funny, touching, clever and beautifully produced, it will take you back in time - as a parent, or child - to those days of glitter, glue and tea-towels for head dresses.” – Break A Leg

Miss Horrocks' class of seven-year-olds is about to perform their nativity play at Flint Street Junior School for the proud mams and dads - and the occasional social worker.

But squabbles arise when Gabriel wants to play Mary, the Star grumbles he's not a proper star like they have at NASA and Herod won't stop waving to his mam and dad. And then the stick insect escapes ...

Both the children and their parents are played by adults in this funny and warm-hearted take on an annual rite of passage in British primary schools. And featuring traditional Christmas carols as you've never heard them before!

This production is sponsored by Ethical Partnership.
